Team Lead, Economist, Trader: Applied Real Estate Investment Trust (AREIT)

August 2025 - Present

• Participant in an alumni-donated stock portfolio which takes equity positions in public REITs
• Served as team lead, economist and trader, forming our team's economic outlook to craft our investment philosophy
• Personally underwrote several retail and lodging portfolios to make specific investment decisions
• Clearly presented the team's strategy, justified decision making and reported results to the investment board

Development Intern: Ragtag Ventures

June 2025 - August 2025

• Developed plans to ensure regulatory compliance as the firm launches its first Opportunity Zone development project
• Created investor-facing materials
• Assisted with modeling and viability assessments
• Participated in meetings with city officials, construction contractors and design firms to gain a broad understanding of the development process

Co-VP: Wisconsin Real Estate Club

• UW-Madison’s Real Estate Club is one of the oldest, largest and most active student-run organizations on campus
• The club hosts nationally-renowned speakers and orchestrates trips for its members twice per year
• Co-VPs serve one semester, then automatically promote to become Co-Presidents

Cofounder: Artemis Labs

February 2021 - December 2025

• Co-founded Artemis Labs, a venture-backed technology startup that developed a range of software products
• Raised capital from investors including Y Combinator, Amino Capital and Remus Capital
• Identified target markets through extensive customer research and subject matter expert interviews
• Facilitated sales, planning and executing an outreach strategy

Deputy Speechwriter for the Secretary of Commerce: DOC

October 2020 - January 2021

• Drafted speeches for the Secretary of Commerce as a presidential political appointee
• Speeches were delivered before audiences that included prominent business leaders and international heads of state
